Surprise and lift. New plants grow across the face: the urge to make something no one has seen yet.
Hardening
Hard crystals spread over the skin as ideals meet reality and experience accumulates.
Depression
Complete exhaustion, and doubt about whether the work matters at all.
Acceptance
The character accepts its circumstances, finds its own way of working and an unwavering belief in itself.
Serenity
Full recovery and a new cycle, returning to the blooming of the first portrait.
